Movies made with hanging-embryo mounts (random DV/RL orientation for each embryo).

Integrated transgene array.

Earliest expression in a wide range of cells starting ~180 minutes after fertilization. GFP becomes more pronounced in dorsal and lateral hypodermal/epidermal cells around 250 minutes.

Extremely strong expression in the anterior head in a large number of cells starts ~300 minutes

Several beautiful independently migrating cells are nicely highlighted and visible along much of their routes during morphogenesis.

Some aspects of this pattern are similar to the pattern for pal-1, but it is not identical.

0Jbi = dorsolateral view
1Jbi = ventral view
2Jbi = ventral view
3Jbi = ventral view
