All embryos show expression in a ventral H-shaped group of cells, starting around 260-300 minutes after fertilization. The cell-group appears to comprise 4-5 ventrolateral body muscle cells on each side, and a pair of right-left oriented spindle-shaped cells joining them to form the H.

Embryo movie 0Jaa is has the best view and contrast of the full structure.
